This page explains how to permanently delete your Amajjii account and the personal data linked to it. Deletion cannot be undone.

Important: Account deletion removes your online account (name, email, phone, profile photo, auth tokens, registered devices / FCM tokens, and support tickets). It is different from Settings → Delete My Data, which only clears favorites and cache stored on this device.

1. Delete your account in the Amajjii app (recommended)

Use this method when you still have access to the app and can sign in.

  1. Open the Amajjii app.
  2. Sign in with the account you want to delete (email/password or Google Sign-In).
  3. Open Menu, go to Profile.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm using the method that matches how you signed up (see below).
  6. Confirm again in the final dialog. When deletion succeeds, you are signed out and the local auth token is cleared.

Email / password accounts

  1. On the Delete account screen, enter your current password.
  2. Tap Delete my account.
  3. Confirm in the dialog. The app sends a request to permanently delete your account.

Google Sign-In accounts

  1. On the Delete account screen, type DELETE exactly (all capital letters).
  2. Tap Delete my account.
  3. Confirm in the dialog. The app permanently deletes your Amajjii account. This does not delete your Google account.

Admin accounts

Admin accounts cannot be deleted from the app. Contact info@amajjii.com if you need help with an admin account.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the in-app flow (for example, you no longer have the device), email us:

  1. Send a message to info@amajjii.com.
  2. Use the subject line Delete my Amajjii account.
  3. Include the email address of the account you want deleted.
  4. We will verify the request and permanently delete the account and associated personal data within a reasonable time, in line with applicable law (including GDPR where it applies).

When your account is deleted, Amajjii permanently removes:

Anonymous analytics that are not tied to your account identity may remain. Local favorites and cache on a device are not automatically wiped by server-side deletion; use Settings → Delete My Data or uninstall the app to clear on-device data.
