We value your privacy and are committed to transparency about how we handle information. This Privacy Policy explains what personal and technical data we collect, how we use it, how it is stored and protected, and your rights when you use the Amajjii mobile application and website.

1. Overview

You can browse Amajjii reviews without creating an account. If you choose to sign in, enable push notifications, or submit support tickets, we collect limited personal and device-related data as described below. We also collect anonymous usage analytics to improve app performance.

2. Personal Data We Collect

Full name and email address (authentication)

When you create an account or sign in (including Google Sign-In), we collect your full name (first and last name, or the name provided by your Google account) and email address.

Device ID (push notifications)

To deliver push notifications, the app generates or uses a device identifier (including a locally generated UUID and, where available, device hardware identifiers) and registers a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token with our servers.

Optional support ticket content

If you submit a support ticket, you may voluntarily attach a voice note (microphone) or a screenshot selected from your gallery. These attachments are uploaded to Amajjii servers only when you choose to send them, and are used solely to resolve your support request. Gallery selection uses the system photo picker and does not require broad storage access. The app does not use the camera.

3. Anonymous Usage Analytics

We collect anonymous usage analytics (app sessions, feature interactions, ad interactions, app version, platform, language, and basic error reports) to improve performance and content quality. Analytics use a random on-device UUID that is not used to identify you personally across other apps.

4. What We Do Not Collect

5. Third-Party Services

6. Local Data Storage

The app stores favorites, settings, cache, analytics device ID, push device UUID, and (if signed in) a secure auth token on your device. Favorites and most preferences stay local. Account details, device registration for push, analytics events, and support ticket content you submit are stored on Amajjii servers as described above.

7. Your Rights — Access, Modify, and Delete

You have the right to:

We will respond to access, correction, and deletion requests within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law (including GDPR where it applies).

8. Data Security

Personal and technical data are transmitted over HTTPS. Servers use industry-standard security controls. Auth tokens on the device are stored with platform secure storage where available. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

9. Children's Privacy

Amajjii does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. International Users

Amajjii is available globally. Data may be processed on servers in different countries. We comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR for European users.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Significant changes will update the "Last updated" date and may be communicated in the app. The current version is always available at https://amajjii.com/privacy-policy.html and in the app.

12. Contact Us

For privacy questions, access, correction, or deletion requests:

Summary: If you sign in, we store your name and email for authentication. If you use push notifications, we store a device ID and FCM token to deliver alerts. You can edit your profile or permanently delete your account from Account in the app, follow delete-account.html, or contact info@amajjii.com.
